Creating an interior for someone is always such a personal experience to be a part of. You are taking a glimpse of a life, how they live, how they function in a space and translating that into the home around them.
As with all our projects we started by addressing the plan. We freed up wall space on the ground floor by installing UFH. Colour, pattern and texture were introduced via core finishes, paint, fabric and furniture. Materials were chosen for their quality to enhance the space or bring character into it.
Our goal was to make this a family home and encourage a dual aspect of natural light. Downstairs we opened up the kitchen to the main living space, removing a cupboard under the stairs and allowing us to extend the worktop through and maximise with bespoke units & usable space. Immediately the whole house felt bigger.
